My tranny is kaput

We went to see the fake Beatles tonight and the car lost all its forward gears (reverse was fine). I am just glad it happened in town and not on the interstate with a bunch of carpool kids in it.

AAA to the rescue. It is now in the transmission shop (Jake's in Durham) for surgery.

I figured it was due for something like this. I am thinking it will cost around 2k to fix.

Such is life.

HOld on buddy boy, that sounds like a failed B2 piston. Not an expensive fix. Do a search on it before you fork over $2k.

Potential for you to have a free xmission that I left at my ex-father in law's @ Hillsborough/Mebane Oaks.... if he hasn't hauled it off. It's been sitting in his yard since 2009. If interested, get in touch with me and I will link up with him.. I like him a lot more than my ex-wife... I think he likes me more than my ex wife too.
