Proper brake fluid for 73' 220D
Can anyone tell me? Can't find a specification in the forums or on any of the literature I have...

You need "DOT 4" brake fluid, has a higher boiling point than regular DOT 3 fluid used in older American iron.
Some brands include Castrol LMA,ATE Superblau(sic), and others. By all means, avoid "DOT 5", or any type of synthetic brake fluid.
