The intelligent eye will notice the clock on the instrument cluster, we ran at these speeds for well over 30 minutes, look for yourselves.

This is a strong 300D Turbodiesel.

Where did you go to do that? Where I am in NY, there's no where remotely near where I can drive without the presence of relatively frequent troopers.

Yeah, I wanna see the 160mph Town Car!
hhmm I don't think you can send it to my mail w/o overloading it..
but you can try
also the 300D!
I wanna see it, that's awesome BTW!

BTW... I was on 90-W one day heading to Wellesley in a Ford Focus. I didn't see a speed limit sign and everyone was going at 80mph+ on the second lane from the left... so I just followed them. In my rear view mirror.. I could see what looked like a 123..
I was like.. No way...

It just zoomed past me! It was a very nice looking Gold 300D Turbo..it was a nice sight!

PS. I hope it wasn't the Focus' overly optimistic speedometer...

BTW, there's a video of a 280E going at 200+ km/h...
The engine sounds soo good!

I've been known to burn up a few miles off the mass turnpike myself. Some great stretches of highway up there, like 495 north going into NH.

I know its off the subject, but you got a lot of weight on your key bunch. You'll proabably have tumbler problems soon if you haven't already.

I notice that your speedometer goes up to 125 mph. Mine only goes up to 85 mph. Strange...I still think you's crazy. Good luck. I just beat a traffic ticket with a trial by declaration form...well you probably already know about those...ha ha...

I'm just giving you sh**! Was this before the tranny started to give you trouble or have you repaired it? I was just curious.

The tranny was getting weird vacuum from the modulator, I removed all vacuum from the modulator and it's fine now, of course it needs to be fixed and I will take it to the mechanic, however I'm waiting for my Supercharged 6 sp. Town Car to come back from the tuners before I can drop the Mercedes off.

Questions

How fast was that car in front of you doing?

Do you have enough keys?

Why were you smiling?

I have a key for each of my Lincolns, one for my Mercedes, one for my house & a few for my business. If you're going to flame me for having too many keys and as to why I'm smiling, that would be really lame.

The fool in front of us was running at least 120 as he was moving much faster than we were.

Cool

Well I got the bug. Last night I was on the freeway and got up to around 85-90 mph. I was just curious how my car would run at that speed. Mikemover responded on another thread that these cars are made for high speed extended driving. I must say it felt just fine. The suspension was solid and the engine sounded like a race car. I hope this doesn't become a disease, race cars tend to need more pit stops and I don't need any tickets
