Trivial 220D electrical question
Most items on the daily driver, a '71 220D, work. But what has stopped working is the little light below the radio that lights the ash tray, and the cigarette lighter via a light pipe. There is no power at the plug with the lights on. I've followed the wire from the plug up to the dash harness, and from there I have no idea. Does any one know if it is fused (all fuses are present and good), or where it is spliced in to the circuit for the lights? It once worked, but I've had the dash apart for a rattle search (successful) and now that light has lost its power. Thanks in advance, Ron

Sometimes the fuses look good but the contacts in the fuse box get corroded - but if this one little light is the only thing that isn't working...
