How about idle speed on the engine? Is that a bit low? Or is there no difference with more revs?

Checked your shifter bushings?

Zero difference in the idle speed. Shifter bushings were just replaced but it did it prior to that. Its a very intermittent thing.

Perhaps it is dirt somewhere and some more fluid changes will help.

If you want to do something that is more active I'd say you probably need to start measuring fluid pressures and comparing your findings with the data in the ATSG manuals / FSM (If you can get hold of transmission chapters in English I'd be interested to know about that - I've got a German copy of the FSM with the transmission chapters though if you need some help)

Another full fluid and filter change is scheduled at about 2500 miles. Chasing it with gauges ect is gonna be hard due to it being so intermittent.

Thanks for the FSM offer. I havent yet looked at the manual I have here.

CCU is now up and running. Double checking my fuses solved it. I was actually glad to see an 8 amp fuse blown. The location was supposed to have a 16 amp in it.

When in doubt about fuse locations you can always refer to the numbers actually on the fuse block and match those to the fuse road map page inside the fuse cover.

Nope, she came out of the Cleveland, Ga area.

Getting better and more true MB every day.

Rather productive couple of days.
CCU now running. Havent checked the AC yet nor the heat.
Radio and now the antenna both work.
My rheostat for the dash lights needs more work. Gonna have to disassemble it this time. At least my dash lights finally fired as did all the bulbs in the CCU area.
Got both the roof drains cleaned out. The tree muck was virtually impacted in there.

A bit of the bad

Illogical as it sounds I have a roughly 2" deeply rusted spot in behind the passenger seat where that passengers left foot would be. Almost like they had a shoe full of water everytime they got in and spent their time grinding their shoe on the floor.

Confirmed bad left rear door vacuum module and probably the right front at least too. Very smooth passenger door lock but no actuator. Probably the rod is loose.
Seems like there was a fair share of vacuum issues in the past OR ... the mechanic had no idea what the vacuum system was doing and he was just chasing.

...
I'd expect that to be water collecting in the sills / rockers / longerons and rusting through the spot weld joint underneath. Other than the underseal MB didn't protect that joint (as far as I can make out). Pull out a rubber bung on the sills close to the rusted spot and take a look inside.

I will do that but the existing hole is next to the drive shaft hump. Its not next to the door.

Found out today on a 60 or so mile run I reeeally need a cup holder.
