Post 602.911 vs. 602.912??

Anyone know off-hand what the differences are? Can't seem to find out what they are, still looking at making my own 250D W124. Does anyone have a Service Data Book to explain? Thanks!

a guess

It looks like they were produced at the same time for the same models, so the difference may have been associated with a factory option (auto/manual, or something else). Or one was made for the w124 and the other for the w201. Probably something very minor I would guess.

I have the w124 service manual, but it doesn't include the 250D unfortunately. I guess because it wasn't a US model.

Differences is only between chassis (124 and 201):
.911 - 190 D 2.5
.912 - 250 D

Also engines may have differences between different model years.

There's a oft discussed difference in the turbo waste gate between the W201 and W124 2.5's.
