Extreme hard shifting is back again after one month!

I have replaced my modulator and had the transmission adjusted through the port on the side of the tranny. It was very close to specs and it shifted pretty well. That was a month ago and now again the car shifts like its getting kicked in the rear by a donkey. This is a 1995 E300D. I like tinkering on my Benz;s but this is getting ridiculous. I checked the lines and all seem to be on and tight. I put a mityvac on the modulator and pumped it up to 20 and very slowly it leaked down(I think it was because I did not have the right adapter to grip the modulator input.

Any advice pleaseeeeee

BTW can too much tranny fluid cause hard shifts? Just wondering. My tranny filter and fluid was changed a few months ago.

Is the vacuum making it down to the modulator?

Yes theres vacuum to the modulator. Im thinking that the modulator may be bad and just my luck to fail after a couple of months. I would have thought that if the modulator leak very slowly that the shifts wouldn't be as hard as they are.

THis car is really trying me. I replaced the injectors three months ago. The car was pinging like a gas engine that is supposed to use premium and I put in the cheapest grad of gas ever. I also used diesel purge to clean it out. This helped for awhile but it still had no where near the power that my 1007 e300D has that that is very odd. However now its back to really pinging when accelerating and no power whats o ever to speak of!

I would agree on bad modulator or at least a leaky one
