I have a 2007 ML320 CDI manufactured in 12/06 with factory tow package. I am trying to put a brake controller on it and have referenced T-B-31.19/07d.

"As of December 2006 production, X58/28 (Figure 2, green plug) near the diagnostic connector X11/4 (Figure 2). Plug may be tie wrapped to harness above connector X11/4."

Well the plug isn't taped at the diagnostic connector like the picture shows. So I checked at the rear SAM and I can't find it there...

Could it be someplace else under the dash? Any hints appreciated.
