fuel filter question
 

Hi all,

This may sound like a really stupid question, but...I need to know.

I was about to buy fuel filters for my 1980TD on Fastlane, but I'm not sure which ones to buy. Do I buy the spin on filter, or the clear inline 90 degree filter?

Is the spin-on the main filter and the clear inline is the prefilter?

Greetings Sean,

Seeing as you have the manual now, please follow the proper air bleeding procedure to rid your fuel system of air after the new filter change. This really applies to the spin on filter as the clear prefilter will self bleed as you prime the rest of the system with fuel.
