Sls hose

Hello guys. I have a 1982 300td wagon. The hose from the reservoir to the pump is seeping. Can I use fuel hose to replace it or will it deteriorate and ruin the pump? I appreciate the help. Thanks

If this is for the SLS, go buy Transmission Cooler Hose.

A competent hydraulic hose shop can rebuild it using the original fittings.

Note that the original hose should have a series of vibration dampers inside of it (little plastic bits). They have to be transferred to the new hose. Just put them in pointed in the right direction.

Here is what you need:

Suspension Hose 5 Meters,W0133-1848752 - PeachParts

It is a weird size (id). None of the local hydraulic shops could help me. Measure your old one. The link says 5 meters - they will sell you a shorter length.

Hope this helps.

We're talking the feed line, not the high pressure line. If we were talking the high pressure hose, you don't need an hydraulic shop. The fittings are screwed on. I have a thread which describes to how rebuild the high pressure line.

I know, but I was trying to find the feed hose locally.

This should be the low pressure hose and should be an easy repair -Kerry has an excellent thread on replacing the high pressure hose which you should do if it appears that that hose is original -good luck!
