80 240d parts compatibility with a 82 300TD

I hit a deer boogered up the front end of my 82 300td, I have a 80 240d and was wondering if I can trade parts off the 240 just talking body parts. If there is a link to this question somewhere on the forum please point me in that direction, I cannot find it?

you may have some difficulty removing the fenders from the 240, as they glued the bolts in place around the inner fender. the 82 should have a full plastic fender liner instead.

aside from that, they are the same on the front.

the turn signals may be a different style between the two cars as well. I'm not sure when they switched from large oval connectors to the smaller square connectors...
