florida yards are full

Plenty of w123's in the west palm beach yards right now. Two quite nice 1985 300D's and many more w126's. Some older 240D's also- including two manual transmissions cars. I pulled a nearly perfect hood and 5 injectors as well as another oil cooler which has PERFECT threads. Sometimes there are slim pickins and other times the bounty is there. I have little time to pull parts right now.

I really need to go to some yards next time I'm down in Miami. There are still lots of the cars on the road so the yards must be good too.

Plenty of great looking rear axles with untorn boots. Nice cream interior on one car. Hard to see why two of these cars were junked. No rust and decent inside with a good looking engine. A nice downpipe already pulled for me- but I have too much stuff in my garage as is...

I leave for the weekend as my sons are in the spring national scholastic chess championships in Memphis, then I drive the boat to NY on thursday.

The 2 LKQ YARDS I hit Here in Houston twice a month seemed to have gone dry on the 123 bodies, 126 and 201s seem to have taken their place.

Are junked cars in Florida typically pretty rust-free like California cars, or does the sea air make them tend to be rusty?

No and yes, to some degree.

California and western cars are usually much better, but FL cars are generally OK.

They tend to rot from the top down or inside out due to a lot of rain ( that we don't seem to get anymore), but MBs were fairly immune to that.
