On the left hand side of the transmission you should see the reverse lights and NSS connections (as mentioned by Aquenticedge). These are towards the rear of the transmission. On the right hand side there's a single wire that goes to the kick down solenoid.
There is also a vacuum line going to the modulating pressure dashpot...

This is the only connection on the rear of the transmission, underneath the tailshaft, and it's held on by a single Philips head screw.
It's not the neutral safety switch connection; that's a big, round, locking connector on the left side (as you view the transmission from the rear). And it's not the vacuum modulator connection. The reverse lights were working, so I'm certain it's not the reverse light switch. Can you guys tell me for sure what this connector is? Responses so far have seemed like speculation. Do you have a link to a parts manual?

Figured it out; It's the hot wire for the kickdown solenoid. Thank you guys.
