anyone have a garage mounted 603.96?

If someone has an idle 603.96 (87 300D/TD, 86-87 SDL), can you check if the 50*C temp switch by the thermostat/lower radiator hose fitting threads into the EDS temp sensor (single post sensor) on the upper radiator hose fitting?

Thanks,
Sixto

I have a spare of each . . . yes, they're the same thread size. The EDS sender is deeper (sensor protrusion below the threads) so the 50C switch should fit.

I'll post a photo later.
