Thanks everyone for the compliments on the car.
@charmalu: My son is very grateful and understands that he is driving a true classic. He has been helping me to fix it up which gives him a feeling of ownership. He has had to learn it isn't like a modern car, you really have to pay attention to things like glow plug lights, oil pressure, idle speed, etc. He also has to be very careful pulling out into traffic, this car really forces him to think about what he is doing and how to plan ahead. I think it has made him be a better driver than if I had set him up with a modern car. "pinkomino" LOL I guess I was fooled, I really thought it was leather.
