Thumbs up Whoo-Hoo! I'm a Senior Member!

I think it only means that the Diesel grease is now ground into my hands a little deeper. I only wish the new title came with a sudden increase in knowledge and ability, but I've learned a hell of a lot since joining the Diesel discussion. Thanks to everyone who has replied to my questions over the past year and a half. This site is a wealth of information. Long may it live! As long or longer than my TD.

Congrats Dave:

I remember that day not so long ago. I had to laugh because in my case it meant that I had asked so many questions that I achieved the status. My ignorance propelled me into the ranks!
I hear you on the grease!

Don

I was thinking the same thing. (Not about you, but about me)

can one request that junnior membership status be retained in spite of reaching some arbitrary number of submissions?

I'm with Janko

I'm just glad that senior status is not based on expertise. Quite frankly, being of senior status is inconsistent with my title of "the village idiot".

When I'm logged in I normally don't place more than 2 or 3 posts per session. Yesterday when I saw I had reached 90 posts, I decided to go for 100. Don't know if anyone noticed my unusually high number of posts, but I had to laugh at myself.

Go to the Weather Underground website, and you can get a banner for your area. Then use the hyperlink as a file attachment, I believe.

As for the original poster, I'm getting closer to "senior citizenship" myself.

Only about 5 or 6 posts left to go as of this one.

Howell was the closest, about 15 miles away. It worked. Thanks!
