1998 W210/E300D - ASR/BAS/SRS Lights

Here is my history:

My vehicle started to throw a P0715 code and I put her up on jackstands and planned on replacing the electrics board. Well, almost 2 yrs later (last weekend), I replaced the electrics board. I have yet to have the tranny computer reset. I took the car off of the jack stands and was super happy.

To get her started, I removed the dead battery put in a temporary battery. I accidentally connected the terminals backwards - that's what you get for rushing the final step. I did blow the radio and amplifier fuses that are on the back of the radio and amplifier. I have checked every other fuse and they are all good.

When I started the car, she fired right up and the SRS light was on. As soon as I tapped the brake, the ABS light came on and I got a BAS warning on the dash.

I disconnected the battery and reconnected. I put back the fully charged (and strong) original battery and it's the same SRS light and ABS/BAS light as soon as I tap the brake.

I did do the "turn the steering wheel left and then right and back to center" and that did nothing. I haven't driven it because it is still in limp mode. I wanted to resolve this issue before I drove it at 30mph the 55 miles to get the computer reset.

What should I look at? Are there any relays that I should investigate? I can't believe I did something so stupid - I even checked the fuses in the coffin....

I did take the cover of the fuse box off (driver side/firewall) to expose the relays. Could one of them be bad? What are they for? I can't find anything to detail each relay.

Can anyone help?

Check batt voltage using the CCU first. Could be an Alt or regulator issue where insufficient voltage causes sensors to lose communications.

Engine on, press and hold REST for 5 secs, then use AUTO buttons to toggle to screen 24.

The system is charging at 14.1 from the battery and the terminal under the hood. When reviewing the actual values via the A/C Pushbutton Control Module (N22 Window), it shows 13.1

I have a document, Section 3.5 Air Conditioning where you can read actual values. One item that I notice, is the my old 1998 E300 from 4 years ago, showed the values in Celsius - this 1998 E300 shows the values in Farenheit, where appropriate - any idea?

Any ideas? I'd like to get her rolling again.
