Depends on what it's in... Weight is everything when it comes to 0-60 times

Thumbs up

The 87's faster for sure, stock to stock, the 606 N/A I think would come in second, I had a 96 E300 and it was pretty close in power to my 87, I was impressed with it, but I love Turbo cars.

I don't know the altitude and topography of Fontana but consider that a marginal difference between turbo 603 and NA 606 at sea level might not be sustained while climbing and in thin air. I haven't tried them side-by-side but a turbo 602 might give a NA 606 a run for the money over the Sierras. Reno doesn't phase a turbo 603 with 4 aboard plus women's weekend luggage. SLS would be nice in a laden 124 sedan.

Not to be a complete pedantic jerk, but this is one of my pet peeves. Here's a concise description of terminology I cribbed from the interwebs:

Quote:
Quick is a measure of time; fast is a measure of speed. For example: "My car did great at the drag races today. My quarter mile elapsed time was a quick 13.99 seconds, and my speed was a fast 102 mph.
So, in the case of the OP's request, the question as stated is in regard to the speed, which is kind of redundant and/or absurd if you think about it. According to the link to Dave's Excel file posted above, a comparison between stock sedans would have the 603 fastest, followed in a closely grouped second and third by the 606 and 602 respectively. The relative quickness comparison mirrors those same results, which is of course what everyone knew the OP intended with the original question.

While this exploration into the English language may appear to be needlessly nit-picky, I've seen numerous examples on various fora where interchanging terminology can lead to some confusing exchanges between members.

I will now STFU

stock, I believe it's 87 sedan, 87 wagon, 95 sedan, then the 90-93 sedan in performance...
modified, I think it's still the 87 that has the advantage, with the 90-s coming in second, then the non turbo trailing, adding a turbo to the 606 would likely push it to the top.

that drifter 650+HP wagon is SICK!!!
