Hello all , sometimes my odometer sticks , I have over 224,000 mi. on it now . The speedometer always works, When I push the trip knob in, it will work for a while then just stop in place but the speed odometer will work. Maybe someone has exp. with this? Could it be dust or dirt in it? or maybe the little gears are worn ?or out of sync? The one that is the tenths always would stop, say at 9 every revoloution. Then I would push the trip Knob in a couple of times it would sometimes start working again for say 50 miles or so. Thanks for any replies. By the way I did my valve adj. last week and every valve was tight. I sure did notice the motor running stronger now . I found it easy to turn over with 27 MM socket. Thanks again.
