Anyone have a good OM617 head?

I may be buying back my old 76 300D which has a bad head. If anyone has a good one, please let me know (please, no duff heads).

I have a good used running 617 turbo motor with a slightly collapsed cylinder from my 82 300CD. I could remove the head for you if you are not in a hurry. I also have the really nice 300d turbo motor that I replaced the above motor with which has about 50K on a freshening. I will sell either reasonably if you are interested and can wait a few weeks.

Memphis Connection

Al.

Let's discuss. I have several that may fit your needs. Do you have a preference if from a turbo vs, non-turbo engine?

Do you just need a good casting to have redone, or are you looking for a head ready to bolt on?

The engine in question, according to my research, is a 617.910.

Guys, thanks. Let me know what you have by PM. If I buy this car, it will be to put back together and sell. Because of this, I don't plan to go all out. The car itself isn't worth that much when done. But I do want the owner to get value out of the engine so no junk
If I can find a good head that just needs surfacing and cleaning, it would be great.

Hey,

Found you one. It's recently hot tanked and machine shop guy says OK to not resurface it. Nice and clean. If you want perfection, then you may have to replace the guides down the road, but it's a nice fit for the budget and project. $125.00 plus shipping and insurance. Let me know./
