Item explanation from picture please.
what is item 71 made of? plain fabric type insulation or something like whats stuck to the floor originally?
currently my car has none, and I can ring the rear quarter panels like a tuning fork.

For cars in general, this kind of stuff is 1/8" thick tar / rubber paper glued to the metal. Take a look at stereo shops, this kind of stuff is usually sold there.

If you don't mind saving some money, go to your local home depot or such and buy a roll of "Grace ice and water shield", used on foundations and roofs, works great as sound deading material. Also, some of the newer window tape is made of this same materail. Lowes sells a "Pella" brand, it's less thick but would do the job.

so its just basically dynamat sheet - by looking at the diagram it seemed like a piece of fabric insulation - the EPC only calls it insulation (other bits are tagged with thermoplastic adhesive)
