collant flow diagram for 85 300SD

Looking for a flow diagram, trying to understand how the collant should flow in and out of the heater core, through the 12V pump. lots of hoses in that small area.
Thanks to anyone who might shed some light on this for me.

that's not the diagram for an SD...

and it pretty much ignores the monovalve. I'm thinking it's from a 240/euro book... looks like a manual valve in the diagram...

Shadetree thanks for trying.
My moonflower has 4 ports, 3 are 5/8" and the 1 small 3/8" size
Give or take one the metric thing. I just pulled the monoflow and aux water pump. Trying to understand the flow. Near as I can tell coolant is being pulled ( suction) down threw the MFV into the pump and discharged out to the engine compartment. But, why the two supply lines (larger ones next to each other) ? And what is the small one doing? Looks like it go's into a small block just below the windshield. What is that?

I think there is a windshield defrost chamber built into the SD's monovalve circuit...

The heater core is dual input, single discharge.

Two supply lines and one discharge? Hmmmm this is interesting.
Anyone know if this is indeed the case? And why? My guess would be that it's an effort to not starve the AWP and keep it from cavitating ?
One more question for all the mono flow experts, does all the coolant get pulled threw the small screen between the diaphragm and plunger stop? If so, this seems very restrictive.

If it was not "the case," I would not have said that it was.

Here is a picture; you can count for yourself:

It's a very common concept with heat exchangers; it's called "parallel flow."

Bad guess.

Qwerty
Thanks for all the feedback, some how when I read your first response, I put a "I think" in front of it all. Sorry about that.

I'll try and slow down when reading. so much to learn about these cars.
