Replacing injectors 1993 300d

How do I get the trap oxidizer out of the way so that I can get to my injector hard lines and nozzles? Thanks!

you should have no issue, all you will need is a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the fuel return loop lines, and a 14mm wrench to get the hard lines loose, then the 27mm deep injector socket, or 12point full depth deep socket (harder to find) 1-1/16 will work too, and a BREAKER BAR. do not use a simple ratchet, and steady pressure. USE THE BRAKER BAR and a solid WHACK to loosen them. otherwise you stand the chance of loosening the PC rings... you don't want to do that... trust me.
to reinstall you need NEW heat shields, and a torque wrench.

Okay then I'm mistaken. I thought that was the name of it based on a pdf schematic I just viewed. I'm talking about the pipe portion of the intake manifold that leads from the mixing pipe that is in the way.

ahh.
it's not in the way, but if it is, just take out the allen head bolts that retain it, and lift it off the turbo.

oh, and generally that's the crossover tube. or intake feed pipe from turbo.
if you could get an intercooler, that is where the pipes from it would connect.

Thanks

Actually that was really easy once I found the allen bolt on the bracket underneath behind the mixer actuator.
