300cd rear windshield seal

Anyone know of any sources for 300cd rear windshield seals? Can't seem to find any anywhere, and I am looking to replace my rear windshield with one whose defroster coils are in better condition. Any help or pointers or suggestions on this is greatly appreciated.

Did you call Phill on the 800# at the right top of this page? actually a 888#.
Phill can source about anything you need.

This may be a dealer item only, but he has his contacts.

I got mine from Phil at Peach.

Not a cheap part, over $200 as I recall. I also recommend you pay an auto glass installer to remove and replace. That is a very high dollar piece of glass and hard to find. Make it thier problem. It cost me $100 to R&R.

defroster coils

I know this isn't the best time of the year to be asking about this stuff, but I'm wondering because i have the following situation ...

When I defrost, the switch turns on and only two or three coils seem to work. From my understanding the soldered connections between the coils and the copper strip probably need re-soldered. Has anyone done this before? Would a shop do this (probably charge out the wazoo, I imagine) ...

I dont blame you on the non shipment part ,Last month a spyed a 300d with all its parts in place at the yard ,the following week the back glass was layed nicely onto of the car but was broken ,looks like they layed it up their for the time being and someone came walking by and broke the side of the glass by shutting a door ,that must of been disappointing.

This was many years ago and the details are kinda foggy but anyways, the rear windshield on our coupe(280CE) started to delaminate at the bottom. This was back when my grandfather still had the car and he took it to a shop to have the front windshield replaced because a rock hit it. In Florida the insurance covers cracked windshields. Anyways we get the car back and the glass shop informs the insurance company that the rear windshield was delaminating and should be replaced.

The insurance company said they would pay for it as they deemed it a safety hazard.

The glass had to come from Germany and it was a little over 1300 just for the glass. I feel blessed to have it replaced
