Question restrore/preserve rubber and plastic?

What do I use to restore or preserve oxidized rubber/plastic trim. Rubber and plastic parts on old MB's I own (bumpers, etc) are intact but oxidized. Does some know what to put on these to restore and preserve the surface? All suggestions welcomed before I start to experiment on my own.

I melt down a bar of glycerin soap and then make a soapy solution and wash seals, then, I rub pure glycerin found at pharmacies (CVS) into the seals, works great. Put some gloves on and massage it in carefully, good luck!

x3 on the 303.

I also like Maguire's Vinyl and Rubber protectant. Someone said this was what MB rebranded at the dealership. Mostly I like the smell

In my experience, Mother's Back to Black does not work as long as Aerospace 303. Aerospace 303 works and leaves the trim black for a longer period, together with adding SPF40 protection.

Once clean, I used to use Zymol. It was a bit expensive, but a great product.

I have that Mothers "Back TO Black" and doesn`t seem to do all that much. put on several coats, and not really what I was looking for

Picked up some of the 303, and wow what a difference. expensive, but worth it.
