Anyone know where I can get a red backup light lens for a TD wagon? Buehler? Buehler?

Just went to O'Reilly's and purchased VHT "Night Shades" in red for tail light lenses. Washed lens with POR marine clean to degrease and shot - looks great and original - very impressed with this product! For those of you with faded red tail lights, this product works! Go me! Replacement lens appears to be 45.00 btw . . . . ouch!

Just to be clear, when I read tail lamp on a W123 wagon, I think of the assembly above the rear bumper.

The red light on or below the rear bumper of a Euro W123 wagon will be the rear fog light unit. The side on where it is installed, determines which side the driver of the vehicle sits.

And I thought the location of the steering wheel determined where the driver sits!!!

Why would you want a red lens on a back-up light?

Yes the Euro cars had red red lens, but it wasn't a backup light colored red. It was a fog light.
