i was super happy with the car, think it is a great road trip vehicle

got 34.5 mpg one tank and 35.5 second tank

had minor issues with maf sensor code that has not come back on after i cleaned it with electrical connector cleaner
drove 600 miles back home and no codes....

still had a rough idle off and on just for a few minutes here and there during the trip back, not sure what it was

it seemed to be i would drive it 200 miles or so , pull in somewhere and as long as it was in drive it was fine but when i put it in park it would idle rough for a minute and then level out????
would always start right back up and idle after i turned it off and went in the store or whatever


drove the car today and it is not doing it at all
it was very minor and i was never concerned about it not starting or leaving me stranded

mechanic is leaning toward maf needing replacing

i did not see any vacuum leaks and there is no diesel smell at all

i have been running about 10% biodiesel since i got it, fuel filter was changed the day i got it but good chance it has never seen biodiesel, so could be that, will go ahead and change it again

mechanic is test driving it now to see if he hears/feels anything etc
since it is not acting up not sure what we can do, the car will be staying in town for several months, never really gave me any trouble and unless i need it for a road trip i am not concerned.

so it drove perfect for the mechanic, still no codes and have not had a rough idle at all since i got it home

i am definitely putting new springs on it and having the drivers seat base redone

so this e300 had very minor issues but did very good on its road trip!
