Auto trans elec/throttle/vacuum modulator

My 81-300d originally came with a vacuum modulated trans, but needs a complete overhaul. I bought the same trans model 722.118 but its throttle actuated and looks like the vacuum modulator will fit. The trans has a bolt hole for the connection. Does anybody know if this will work??

The early 722.118s had the rod linkage to the throttle with out a vacuum dashpot. Vacuum wasn't used. If you want this transmission to work as it should you need to modify your throttle linkage and block off your vacuum - keep hold of the 3/2 valve on top of the engine though as they are rare now.

To adjust the early 722.118 you can find information for that here
