Coupe indoor trim panel chrome attachment
Can anyone please advise the best way to get the chrome attachment that makes the trim on the very upper section of the indoor panel to attach. This is the trim that connects to the plastic piece which hides the seatbelt top, and goes along the length of the window on the inside right next to the weatherstrip.
My was never attached and it seems like it is some kind of a crimped attachment which I'm not sure how to get on. Any advice on getting the entire back panel assembly back on would be great. ![]() ![]()

I guess where Im getting to is if that chrome piece connects to this thing first:
![]() So I press it in there and then try to jam the panel into it... ![]() ![]() Or if one takes another tact with it... It was loose on my car since I got it. The other side is perfect, and Im afraid to take it apart because of that... The panel was mounted, but the trim could just be pulled off. My impression is that to remove the panel: ![]() What you really do is unscrew the one screw that holds it in place, and then pull the entire assembly up, including the metal trim piece that is in the weatherstrip assembly that Im talking about. I suppose you unbolt the seatbelt to get it through the hole then... Suggestions?
