The official drink of "Mercedes Pickers"

Kind of a fun thread but it seems lately whenever 79mercy and I go on a Mercedes pick or excursion we will usually end up buying a slushy. These were from the Gate station near my house. 79 needed diesel and I needed some human fuel . These slush is we're a mix of cola and cherry.....yummy!!!!! Along with a couple Johnsonville brats from the roller grill and I was ready to go for more.

What kind of food and drinks keep you us running when out on a diesel fun run or a parts pick?

You are showing your 2 & from background Army !!

When its as hot as hell & you are melting in the sun, the last thing I want is a cup of tea ! A nice ice cold beer would be in order. So cold that it takes your breath away when you start to drink it.

Since Im rolling out in the morning to beat the days heat ,my stop brings me to gas up at the local station down the street,I fill up the cup with some smoking hot coffee and then out the door for another yard day.A few first sips puts the day right .A few brkfst tacos is my next stop ,pico as a toping ,not much better brkfst to be had.I get at the YARD 30 minutes after opening since I hate any version of a line wait, then its off into the yard for plundering .The great design of all Mercedes is that hood star that rides high in the air when the hoods up ,it almost waves at you as you search across the field of lined cars to say" here I am" .

Iam with Zacharias,
In the morning I make a pot of coffee and have two packages of Nature Valley Crunchy Granola bars I dunk in the cup while on the Forum. just finished my 3rd cup.

Then in the late afternoon I make the second pot and a couple more packages of Granola bars and check the forum.

Even on a hot day I will have a hot cup of coffee. I don`t drink sodas or Gatoraid etc.... I do have a Beer on a hot day or two or three.....

At PNP I usually have water with me, then when I leave I`ll stop at Mc Donalds to wash up and have some Hot coffee. Don`t eat their crap, but usually have a Granola bar with me.

Iam a coffee junkie too, but I go one step farther, I have Coffee Beans in a 35mm container, I`ll pop a few now and then. works good on late night driving .

Charlie
