What is a 82 300SD with a bad trannie wortt?

owner claims it has 127K miles. Seems clean
1983 Mercedes 300SD Diesel 127,000 Miles

What does a used trannie go for?

500-1000 depending on rust, paint condition etc.... probably closer to the 500 end...

A good used tranny should be under $500. More with a warranty.
