EGR delete
 

I am looking to eleminate the EGR and use the port on the intake to pipe in water injection. those who have the done the delete, can you share how you blanked off the exhaust port to eleminate the EGR valve? thank you.

Fashion a metal plate in the shape of the EGR valve gasket.

Depending on the engine, the EGR port into the manifold might not be situated for uniform distribution of water vapor. Closer to where the turbo blows into the manifold might be a better injection site.
