How do I remove SLS dipstick?
Still getting acquainted with my 1987 300TD....have a dumb question....how do I removed the SLS fluid reservoir dipstick? I pull and nothing happens....I turn and nothing happens. How does it come out?
Thanks.

I don't have experience with an '87, but on the 124's and 140's I've seen with reservoirs like this:
Replacing Accumulators (a.k.a. Pressure Spheres, Spring Actuators) | V12 Uber Alles just pull on the smaller top cap, while twisting back and forth a bit. Don't unscrew the bigger cap beneath. Rgds, Chris W.

The link said I check with car running and warm. Is that your understanding as well?
