603 IP Splined Collars Questions
Oddly, four of the six splined collars (and the two torx screws that hold them in place) are missing on my 87 300TD. Only the collars for lines 5 and 6 are in place. So I'm looking at the EPC. Is the collar what MB calls the "shackle," part number 000 075 00 38? And is there a part number for the torx screw?
I definitely want to replaced these when I do the delivery valve seals. I assume their sole function is the increased rigidity of the line? Thanks.

The Shackel is the stamped sheetmetal sort of teardroped shaped part with a splined hole; the inside diameter splined; designed to keep the Delivery Valve Holder on the Fuel Injection Pump from turning.
I have not read this but it is possible that the Clamps on the Fuel Injection Hard Lines are also called Shackels.
