w210 E300 OM606 Turbo Temperature
Finally got the fan clutch replaced, it was easy took me 15 min.
Now i thought my temperature problem was from that, my fan clutch was stuck and the fan was on all the time. Before i replace the clutch temperature was about 75, idling or moving, and after I replace it, its around 75 C when it's moving and it's Idling or completely stop for few min it barely gets to 80 C what could be the problem? Thermostat? i looked up online there is 85C and 80C which one should i get? What's the Idling temperature supposed to be?

are you in siberia? or baghdad? climate plays a role in normal operating temperature. fyi you can add your location to your profile, so we don't have to guess. but if you're running too cool, i'd change the thermostat. they're designed to fail in the open position. and it's cheap and easy to change out.

The stock temp for the non-turbo is 85C, turbo is 80C. I swapped in the 85 and it netted me around 1 MPG on the highway.
Temp gauge runs about one needle width above the 80 mark.
