Looks like I am in need of a replacement lens. Someone bumped me in the parking lot at work it would seem. {rant on}No note - nothing - I did find a few tiny bits of the plastic in the cracks in the cement right under the car, so the guilty party must have looked and 'cleaned-up' the bigger bits. Sure its an old car, sure its dirty, sure it has a little rust, but but... GRRR... Multi-company lot so I do not work with all the folks who park here.{rant off}
Anyway, I do not have time to run to the pick-n-pull, hunt around, pull the part, run back home, put in the part, etc... Anyone have one for a reasonable price? Local? (see profile) Shipped?

I'd bet that the building has some type of surveillance system. I'd ask about that.

Yeah I just shipped a w116 lens, which is larger, but just the same the guy paid more for the postage than the actual lens assembly .

Try putting a "WTB" (want to buy) ad in the used parts for sale and wanted subforum here (accessible off the front page of the forums) and specify you'd like to keep the purchase local. We have a fair number of members in FLA.

If you want to try to repair the lens you have, I might have a damaged one that might be usable for parts. Yours seems ok except for that little piece.

I'm at work right now so I'll have to see what I have at home. I wouldn't charge you anything for it... just postage.
