I bought an 85 300D last week. It is pretty good shape and seems to run fine. It has 200,000 miles on it.

Silver with a nice dark blue interior. My current plans are to do some service work on it. Change the oil in the engine and transmission. Check the rear axle level.

I don't have a service manual for it. I have read a lot of posts on the internet about these cars.

The only corrosion issue is in the trunk where there was a grommet missing around the power antenna. The power antenna doesn't work, I wonder if when the power antenna is not working as the previous owner put in an aftermarket radio. I need to trouble shoot it.

There is a hole at the bottom behind the wheel well. I put a grommet around the power antenna stalk and used some rust solvent to clean up the rust I duct taped over the outside of the car and put in two part polyethylene foam then built up a patch on the inside from fiberglass cloth and epoxy. At this point water isn't coming in but it far from being repaired.
