300d transmission big pain

Well guys i have a good one. The 300d is 1985 with a rebuilt transmission from peter schimd. In stalled by my the shop i hired to do the job. The shop is very good and is having trouble with getting the 3rd to 4th shift to work right. Seams that there is a flar between shifting in 3r and 4th with high reves, like its out of gear. The thermo vacuum valve blue was changed the vaccum valve shift modulator changed. The problem being that there was 14 -15 pounds vacuum. there should to 11-12 pounds. that is why the valves were changed vacuum is were it should be now. The car shifts good when cold and after 25 miles of driving it starts acting up with the shifting problem. Going to take it back to the shop tuesday. This is my 81 year old mothers car.
Any ideas?
thanks Bill
