Can someone tell me what these hose's and connection are and where do they go?
 

Can someone tell me what these hose's and connections are and where do they go and what do they do?

This is from a 1994 S350D

One is a black vacuum hose on passenger side of engine

One is an electrical connection on passenger side of engine.I couldnt find where it is supposed to connect to.

Two pictures are near the cowl of the engine, it plugs in and is made out of solid plastic, could it have anything to do with the windshield wiper system?
