I disassembled an entire blown motor to not feel like that. Didn't do it. Still millions of gizmos that are important.

That IS what's under your hood but shrunk down a bit and installed in a cast iron case. The Haynes manual shows it clearly (or as clearly as they show anything).

There are no safety`s or guards in place, it could run away w/o any controls what so ever.
The sign is right, a scaled down version of the Government. LOL.

The engine running the system is an old Hit and miss, that for sure is our Government in action.

Iam sure one of those rods or levers is the suppository inserter.

I'm retired from our Government and I resent your comments. The US Federal Government is WAY more complex and obtuse than this simple device and may or may not have any more determinable function.

The interesting thing is that somehow the Gov does get a whole bunch of important jobs accomplished, like the distribution of my Social Security check, which is darn important to me. After all my years in the Gov I'm convinced that the workers get their work done in spite of their leadership rather than because of it - we just made it work and didn't tell the boss. But isn't that pretty common in all large organizations?

I see the government under my hood every time I look at the EGR valve.

I've got the kit from rollguy, I just have not done it yet. Too much work and rain in the PNW. Maybe today It'll happen. I can't imagine it will take long.

Having been in the Navy I would say you are spot on.
