Brian Carlton Approaching 25,000 Posts!

Brian Carlton is closing in on 25,000 posts. Isn't this, oh I don't know, somehow worthy of commemoration...or something? Maybe he should get a gift card to Pelican Parts!

Brian, just make sure that 25,000th post is a good one.

Nah........isn't worth squat.

A lot of them were from the dark days of OD where the posts counted. Hell, some days I could accumulate 75 posts a day over there.

What do you mean by "the dark days of OD"?
Does OD = Open Discussion?

I want to personally thank you, BC, for some of your enlightening posts (and contributions) in the Diesel Discussion.

Yep, OD is "open discussion".

It's been a good run in DD...........I enjoy solving a problem to a final solution and conclusion...........something that is enormously difficult by wire. Hell, many times it's difficult in person.

You and T Walgamuth seem to post at roughly the same pace....and you'll both overtake Brian at the rate you're going.

There used to be a button at the top of the Members List that would show the top ten posters by post volume. I don't know how VS did the search. Under my previous post name, I was number one at one point with right at 10,000 posts. That was a LONG time ago.

Brian has indeed contributed GREATLY to this forum. Although I'm sure that coming from me it means nothing to him, I thank him for it.

That would be a factually incorrect statement.

Of all the things a husband COULD be doing online, surely posting to the Peach Parts diesel forum is among the more innocent and innocuous. Tell her it keeps you away from pornography and gambling.

Wha?.... you mean there's no pornography or gambling here?
