300SD, I have used ATF and 2-Stroke Pre-Mix at 55:1 concentrations (with #2 diesel) and I have also ran 100% virgin vegetable oil, peanut oil and canola oil in this engine, over its 70,000 mile lifespan, as an experimentation. The mileage did not change much, perhaps 1.0 mpg on these alternative fuels, but combustion was much quieter...Robert

Seems really good for such heavy car. I filled up with B20 and managed to burn 5.7 Gallons after 205 miles iirc, so ~38mpg with a decent fuel leak at the delivery valve holders o-rings. Thats 90% highway.

This is a big, heavy car, so I am very pleased with the mileage at present...

Filled up yesterday.
513 miles on 15.072 gallons = 34.0366 MPG..... On this tankful of straight #2 without any additives, I kept my rpm's between 2200 and 2700 all the time. This includes 7 miles of in-town driving to get to the freeway (going) and 10 miles of in-town driving to get to the shop from the freeway, plus the 110 mile one-way commute. Keeping the rpm's around 2300-2500 seems to yield the best economy...Robert
