leaking diesel from filter housing

Hey guys,

I developed leaks on the fuel filter housing after a filter replacement. I replaced the small o ring on the hollow bolt but could not replace the bigger one up top due to not being able to find it for sale anywhere, where can I find it? The one I ordered was the small one. Is there supposed to be a crush washer on the top of that fuel filter hollow bolt? what all should I replace? the cigar hose was leaking, already replaced that however.

Thanks,
Mike

the 84 SD should have an 02 fuel filter housing, it only needs the two o-rings, the small one, and the larger one. mine were in the 1.99 o-ring kit from harbor freight, but any auto parts store will have viton fuel o-rings in a bundle set, and there should be ones that fit.
the washer on the head of the bolt is just to protect the filter housing from the steel bolt head, it does not seal.

Your 84 should have 2 "O" rings on the center bolt, and uses no washer under the head.

On top of the filter housing is a #. If yours is 615 092 02 08, then you use 2 "O" rings.

If your # is 615 092 01 08, the one "O" ring an an aluminum washer under the bolt head.
