87 sdl sale feeler
im in the stl area. got a 87 300sdl thinking of getting rid of. dont really want to but got to much stuff and live in a subdivision.
first the paint is DEAD! almost no rust. small spot on drivers rear wheel well about inch or so and some bubbling at the rear door handle. both very hard to notice and thats all i can find. floors and under car is in great shape as it has been under coated. car is was hunter green. tan interior. could use tires and alignment. as front break rod mounts and bushings have been replaced and a tie rod end. its close enough to drive straight and took 20k miles to wear the inside edge of tires. everything under car is tight front and rear, with new front bilstein shocks and steering stabalizer. a/c works been converted, vacuum manifold for dash vents is a little screwy. all windows, locks and sunroof work. cruise does not. needs a new fan clutch. unknown mileage. clock reads 195k. engine runs very good and uses no oil and tranny shifts great. been teens here in morning and starts right up on first glow plug cycle. car is not new but solid. ive had it for over two years. wife hates it! i like it but have to many things and i have to force here to drive it. (it gets the best mpg's out of the cars we have,25-33) any interest? i know to many variables and unknowns but thought i would ask those who appreciate these 300sdl's
