so because of the starter debate Threads I have to start one. My engine just will not crank over, from the service records I got with the car the starter was never replaced, so I just ordered a reman starter...yes its a lifetime one so anyways I pulled the starter and its the part number above. My question is, is this one of the discontinued light duty starters?? I googled the number and nothing really popped up....I will see what part number they give me on the reman..oh and I believe this is a California model 300d...1978 build...oh and whomever rebuilt the trans didn't install the bottom bolt...anyone have an extra?
