Installation of om602.961 into TN van

The first problem with i will start is wheel adaption to my clutch.
I have different axle (less tooth) on my transmission and clutch.

Can i change the wheel dimeter from 22.2 cm to 23.2 cm?

(see picture)

For the clutch friction disk I assume? You should be a good. A local machine shop can help make the determination.

From his sig it looks like a 601 .
If the clutch plate (wheel) fits with the pressure plate bolted up then its ok.
You need to just place the clutch plate on the flywheel & look at it. Also place the clutch plate on the pressure plate & make sure it is not bigger in diameter than the pressure plate.

OK. Now I see it. I thought the 86 vans still used the 616.

Yes, it is all from previous engine (om601) except flywheel.

Ok. I need to find right tool wheel bolts off. I work in factory maintenance as electrotechnic engineer ,but i have also connections to persons which works on router machine. I have find help to adapt flywheel to clutch plate and the pressure plate. The next problem will be to make new hols for bolts for fixing pressure plate with milling machine.

I hope it will get out right. I will first check dimensions also how deep clutch mechanism (if clutch cylinder is touching the pressure plate) is mowing to see if in that direction should be nos surprises.

You're on the right track So long as everything is made to fit, and you are not putting a load on the pressure plate "release forks" while sitting, you're good to go.

In next days i should get wheel adapted to fit my clutch and the pressure plate.
Now i have another adaption to do. I have not servo amplifier for front wheels on my van. So i have to neutralize this function on my om602 engine.
on the picture (just sinbolic - not from my van) i have marked pipe connections . What to do? Use Plug for hole instead of using pipes. Or connect holes between them?

Can't you just remove the power steering pump from the engine?

(If you are keeping the existing non power assisted steering box on your TN van - which I'm surprised you are doing - you must have arms like Popeye!)

Next problem:
Vacuum system of IP. Which pipe has to be connected to lock key?
And what to do with other pipes?

I can't answer your question but if you have a look over on www.startekinfo.com (click on MB resources and find the service manuals) you can find the FSM for the W201

Here's a direct link to the document you need that may or may not work for you because their website is a bit crap...
