Garrett T3 TBO 390 REBUILD

Does anyone have real world experience in building a Hybrid turbo using the stock Garrett T3 impeller and a larger compressor wheel? Lots of rice racers seem to do this and a modest increase in pressure at speed might make for more efficiency on my diesel.

There used to be a forum called superturbodiesel. However, the name has changed. That would be a likely place to look if you can find the new site name.

No we're still around

superturbodiesel.com - tuning performance turbo diesel mercedes, W123, W116 and up. OM617, OM60X

You can get the housing machined to fit a 60 trim wheel, a couple guys have done it and liked the results.
