Two 124 Questions

1. The strip on the roof on the driver side has become detached at the rear. There appears to be a rubber strip between the metal strip and the roof. How does one reattach the very rearward end of that strip?

2. Probably due to high temperatures that develop during the summer when the car is parked at work all day, the top of the rear seat back has come away from the seat back frame so that there is a separation between the seat and the parcel shelf. I will send a picture when it is daylight outside but my question is how to effectively reattach the material as it goes up and over the top of the seat back?

roof "Trim" clips

(one of those MAY be what you need)

You'll have to lift the Seat Back off [After you take the Seat cushion out]
It's got bolts attaching it to the chassis on the bottom, under the seat cushion.
and see how it's covering is attached.

rear seat cushion has two RED metal levers that must be depressed to release the front of the cushion.
It then lifts up at the front and pulls out.

thank you

I do know how to remove it but what I need to do is to reattach the Benz material to the seat back at the very top. Glueing may be the only option but somehow it has be kept straight across the rear/top of the seat back.

Also need a response on the strip on the roof question.

Glue,How is the materiel held on NOW?

1.I believe the Roof "Trim" Clips HOLD the:
"Also need a response on the strip on the roof question."
in place.
check the FSM or ask member gsxr.
