Lights Out
I worked on the odometer last week. Found out the two cluster lights didn't work. I pulled the cluster and rotated the bulbs ( they aren't stock ), and one lit. Next try I didn't get the cluster in far enough and knocked out all the tiny interior lights when I turned the switch. Changed the fuse, and nothing lights. Any other place to look?

Which tiny interior lights are you talking about?
Some have bulbs and some use fiber optic with a single bulb.

Hmmm.....sounds like a wire may have come off of the dimmer rheostat. It should have a gry/vio wire for supply and two gry/blue wires coming off of it. One to the cluster illumination and one to a common connection point (C124) that supplies power to multiple lights.
Here is a source for a diagram, that can be printed, to help you out: Mercedes-Benz 126 Service Manual Library

Success!!! Put new LED light in and fuse didn't blow. Must wait till dark to see if indexed correctly. Strange. Thanks for trying,Blue.
