Wheels offset ?

W123- 1985 Mercedes 300d
Wanting to throw a 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 ET35 all around set of wheels on my 1985 300D.

I intend on cutting 1.5-2 coils off all around for a little low.

I know someone is running a 17x8 ET36 front & 17x9 ET30 rear on his W123 300TD and says it fits well but he does get a bit of rubbing on tie rod on heavy turns, and it could use a spacer. - But since I want to run a wheel upfront that is .5 inches less wide and 1mm less offset, should I be good?

Sorry, 17's on a W123 is nothing short of ridiculous.

It's going to ride like a vehicle with a solid axle and shake the teeth out of your head.
